It’s Yellow Ribbon Time! (continued)

March 13th will be a big day for endometriosis advocates and supporters, as women from around the world called upon to march against endometriosis. The main event held on The National Mall in Washington, D.C. will showcase thousands of women uniting together to combat endometriosis. For those unable to make the trip to Washington, D.C., corresponding marches across the United States and the world have been organized. You will find marches in Amsterdam, Belfast, Berlin, Brasilia, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Dublin, Helsinki, Kingston, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Oslo, Reykjavik, Rome, Stockholm and Valleta.  To find out ways that you can participate, visit the Million Women March webpage at: http://www.millionwomenmarch2014.org/

The Louisville metropolitan area will host its first ever endometriosis awareness event on March 15th, Bowties and Pearls. One hundred percent of sales from this inaugural event will go directly to benefit endometriosis research. Guests can expect a night filled with hors d' oeuvres, bourbon tastings and cupcake tasting, as well as a silent auction. For more information, visit the event’s webpage: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/bowties-and-pearls-a-bourbon-cocktail-party-for-endometriosis-awareness-tickets-9040836385

The Endometriosis Network Canada will host their second biennial Endometriosis Symposium on March 22nd.  Speakers will cut through myths and biases to provide access to accurate, detailed information. An exhibitor section will enable attendees to browse edibles, products, and services specific to endometriosis.
